Program:  UCLA Sci | Art Nanolab Summer Institute: Los Angeles, California
Description: The Sci | Art NanoLab is a highly competitive summer program for high school juniors and seniors interested in collaborating with diverse and notable minds to challenge traditional, polarized perspectives of the arts and sciences. Throughout the 2-week intensive program, students will make connections between cutting edge scientific research, popular culture and contemporary arts. Lab visits, workshops, hands-on experiments, and meetings with world renowned scientists will be balanced with visits to museums, daily movie screenings and meetings with famous contemporary artists who collaborate with scientists.

NANOTECH LECTURES AND HANDS-ON EXPERIENCE:  Access to scholars in 15 cutting-edge labs from 7 nationally top-ranked departments operating at the forefront of nanoscience research.

IMAGINE THE IMPOSSIBLE:  The program culminates in a public presentation + exhibition of student’s think-tank research.

Program:  University of California, Santa Barbara Pre-College Programs: Santa Barbara, California
Description: UC Santa Barbara allows students to choose from four exciting programs which are designed for different kinds of students: the Early Start Program (ESP), Academic & Enrichment Program (1+1), Enrichment Program and the Research Mentorship Program (RMP). These six-week programs give high school students the unique opportunity to take regular UC Santa Barbara courses. We offer over 100 courses to choose from in 40 academic departments. Although the programs are fairly similar, there are a few differences that are tailored to students who have different goals for the summer.

Program: Emagination Computer Camps
Description: Technology PLUS Summer Camp FunEmagination blends the latest in technology with fun non-tech activities that create a well-rounded summer camp experience for kids & teens ages 8 -17. Two-week sessions allow time to make friends and become part of a community.   Many campers stay longer and return for years.  Beginners to experts choose three workshops from a selection including:  3D Art, 3D Animation, Flash®, Digital Music, Video Game Design, Robotics, RC Cars, iApps, Java.  Recreation is an important part of the program.
