Program: Summer Study Pre-College Programs for High School Students
Description: The leader in Pre-College programs, combining stimulating academics with exciting sports/recreational activities, nightlife, sightseeing, foreign culture and travel weekends. Non-pressure ENRICHMENT and COLLEGE CREDIT programs are available at Penn State University, Colorado State University, Fordham University in New York City (NYC) and at The Sorbonne in Paris, France. 

Summer Study Programs provides current high school students with a preview of college life with programs ranging from 2 to 6 ½ weeks.  Last year alone, over 1,100 students, from 27 countries, participated in a Summer Study Program.  
 
Participants: High school students completing 9th through 12th grade are eligible to participate in a Pre-College program.

Program:  Colorado State University Summer Pre-College and Youth Programs for High School Students and Middle School Students: Fort Collins, Colorado
Description: The Colorado State University Pre-College Summer Programs provides students with the opportunity to explore a variety of high interest topics and subject areas. Description: Summer Discovery is an all-inclusive pre-college experience; living on a college campus, participating in activities, exploring great cities, having fun and making friends from all over the world. Freedom with support and balance, that's Summer Discovery. For over 49 years, high school students from around the globe have enjoyed summers filled with fun, educational, and innovative activities. While visiting our website, take time to learn about our over 300 course offerings at your program of interest - college credit, research, engineering, sport management, leadership programs, SAT prep, enrichment, writing, community service, college admissions prep, tennis, cooking, and many others. Summer Discovery offers programs at 13 different locations in 3 countries, and works with universities of the highest caliber, such as University of Pennsylvania, UCLA, Georgetown, and many more!  We invite you to join a wonderful group of teenagers from all over the U.S. and around the world this summer and experience a great summer program for teens!

Description: SEP is a two-week residential program at the University of Northern Colorado consisting of high-interest, hands-on, brains-on courses for gifted, talented, and creative students entering grades 5 through 10.

Program: University of Denver Lamont School of Music Summer Academy: Denver, Colorado
Program Description: Equipping pre-college musicians for success in the 21st century, the University of Denver Lamont School of Music Summer Academy provides a 2-week intensive music experience in state-of-the-art facilities with outstanding artist faculty! Curriculum includes private lessons, master classes, chamber music, orchestra, wind ensemble, choir, jazz combo, music theatre, experimental and steel drum ensembles, recitals, music technology, conducting, theory, collaborative piano, Alexander technique, diction for singers, special topic seminars including music business, concerto/aria competition, recreational activities and more!
Participants: Instrumentalists, singers, pianists and composers, ages 14 through 18 (some age exceptions).

Program: iD Tech Camps: Code, Game, Create! Held at Prestigious Universities Nationwide
Description: There will be 1 million unfilled STEM jobs by 2020—let’s get ready! Held at over 100 top universities nationwide, ages 7-17 develop real-world tech skills and experience firsthand how interests can turn into a college degree and future career. Led by hip, tech-savvy instructors, students code apps, design video games, mod with Minecraft, engineer robots, build websites, produce films, and more. Courses with only 8 students per instructor for personalized learning while students build self-confidence and meet new friends with similar interests. High-energy, weeklong day and overnight programs where students develop an online portfolio and debut their final project at the end of the week. With a balance of computer time and outdoor summer fun, kids and teens think critically, problem-solve, collaborate, and socialize. Accredited Continuing Education Units available. Programs held at Stanford, Princeton, and many more. iD Tech also offers iD Programming Academy, iD Game Design & Development Academy, and Alexa Café (all-girls STEM program in a unique, stylish setting).

It’s about making the world a better place and innovating solutions to help others in our local communities and beyond our borders. Whether designing a sleek webpage, producing a film, learning to code creatively, or developing wearable electronics with lights and sensors, technology shouldn’t be intimidating or uninspired. In the right environment, it’s cool. Meaningful. Life changing. Alexa Café isn’t just an all-girls summer tech camp. It’s a movement. It’s a chic concept where girls ages 10-15 collaborate and create in small, close-knit clusters during the weeklong program. A place where ideas take shape around café tables and atop beanbags in small classes with never more than 8 students per instructor. Weeklong day and overnight programs are held at select campuses nationwide including Bryn Mawr, UW, and others. iD Tech also offers iD Tech Camps (ages 7-17), iD Programming Academy, and iD Game Design & Development Academy.

Program:  SPI Study Abroad: Language Immersion and Global Leadership Summer Programs for High School Students
Description: Founded in 1996, SPI High School Study Abroad Programs offers high quality French, Italian, Chinese, and Spanish language immersion summer programs exclusively for high school students.  We believe traveling abroad develops independence and maturity by expanding students knowledge of the world and increasing their understanding of other cultures. All SPI high school study abroad programs are unique and personalized global experiences designed to build leadership qualities that help students succeed both in college and in their future endeavors.  Our programs are guided by experienced educators with small group sizes that make traveling abroad exciting, educational, and truly inspiring.

Program: Colorado School of Mines Summer Engineering Program for High School Students: Golden Colorado
Description: The Colorado School of Mines Summer Engineering Design Program is for high school (rising 10th-12th grade) students. Participants work in teams to design and build an engineering device to meet a set of performance specifications. The team markets the device to a general audience through a poster session and competition. This exciting adventure creates an opportunity to practice engineering design, i.e. the design and construction of processes, components, or systems.

Program: Rocky Mountain College of Art and Design High School Intensive Camp: Denver, Colorado
Description: Pre-college Summer Camps at RMCAD offer high school students the chance to see what our BFA programs are all about before they enter college. With week-long non-credit camps in five different topics, campers can test out a major or two, expand their artistic skills, and see what life on a college campus is really like.

Program: Regis University Summer Reading Programs for High School Students and Middle School Students: Denver, Colorado
Description: In this program, students become stronger readers and better students. They read twice as fast, make substantial gains in comprehension, and study more effectively. Students who take this program: Increase reading speed; Improve comprehension; Learn study skills; Enjoy reading more. The program includes five weeks of classroom instruction and stimulating activities led by an experienced teacher, engaging materials that provide instruction at home between the weekly lessons, and reading in some of the most enjoyable books ever written.
Participants: Students Entering Grades 9, 10, and 11. There are also programs available for younger students.
