Program:  Ohio University Summer Honors Academy:  Athens, Ohio
Description: 4-week program during which participants earn college credit in 2-3 selected University courses alongside University students.  Courses include a wide range of disciplines, and students have their choice.  Residential and commuter options; close supervision and support provided by mentors from the University’s Honors Tutorial College and residence life staff.  Students explore Ohio University resources and options for college majors and careers, participate in service learning projects, and enjoy structured extracurricular activities.
Participants: Completed 9th, 10th, or 11th grade; earned 3.25+ gpa on a 4.0 scale.

Program:  360° Student Travel
Description: 360° Student Travel allows you to step in a new direction. Travel, volunteer, improve your Spanish language skills or get a taste of the college life. Description: This camp is a week-long, residential camp open to rising high school sophomores, juniors, and seniors.  Students can choose one of three concentrations: fashion design, graphic communication design, industrial design.

Program: The University of Cincinnati's College of Design, Architecture, Art, and Planning Architecture DAAPCamp:  Cincinnati, Ohio
Description: Cincinnati Architecture Mentoring Program is an architectural summer camp open to all rising 8th and 9th graders. This is a week-long day camp led by DAAP faculty and students.  Priority will be given to minority applicants.

Program: Miami University Juniors Scholars Program: Oxford, Ohio
Description:  This program provides students with the opportunity to take college-level courses at Miami University.  Students can choose courses from a variety of subject areas.  Students may be able to gain admission into the university through their performance in these courses.

Description:  This is an intensive program designed for students to explore various concepts in mathematics and to promote mathematical thinking.

ProgramThe Ohio State University's Summer Institute for Diversity in Nursing: Columbus, Ohio
Description: OSU’s Summer Institute for Diversity in Nursing is a four day interactive program for current high school sophomores and juniors.  While the program is open to students of all backgrounds, it aims to increase the number of historically underrepresented populations in nursing, including Black/African American, Native American, Asian, Hispanic and male.  The College of Nursing is actively seeking to increase the diversity of the student population, so we can better serve the nursing profession and the nation’s health. Participants will attend lectures, skills labs, receive ACT preparation, and take tours of nursing labs, The James Cancer Hospital, and the Ohio State campus.  They will also be equipped with scrubs, a stethoscope, a blood pressure cuff, and Ohio State gear. The application deadline is April 30th.

ProgramMechanisms of Human Health and Disease: Columbus, Ohio
Description:  Mechanisms of Human Heath and Disease is a fast-paced, in-depth program designed to challenge the serious science student. Students in the Mechanisms program investigate cancer and other disease topics with lectures from research experts. At the final class, students present their research paper to friends, family, teachers and researchers at Nationwide Children’s Hospital.
Participants:  This program  is designed for incoming seniors. However, sophomores and juniors who meet the prerequisites will be considered.

Program:  Stone Laboratory Summer Science Opportunities:  Lake Erie, Ohio
Description:  The Ohio State University’s Stone Laboratory Summer Program enables students to gain practical experience in the field of science during the summer. The Stone Lab Program provides students with the opportunity to take interesting science related courses and participate in hands-on science activities at its Lake Erie location.  Students can take courses such as the introduction to aquatic biology, the introduction to the study of birds, and field based introduction to oceanography.  Students may also be able to earn course credits for these courses.
Participants:  To participate in this program, students are required to have completed the 10th grade, be at least 15 years old, and have completed at least one high school biology course.

Description:  Join us for a virtual adventure to find a shipwreck in Lake Erie. Inspired by the research and exploration of Dr. Robert Ballard, father of the Jason Project, the Immersion Presents Program, and finder of the wreckage of the Titantic, this camp will engage campers in field science and exploration.

ProgramCase Western University Pre-College Scholars Program:  Case Western Reserve University
Description: High school students wishing to take regular university summer classes may apply to enroll through the Pre-College Scholars program. The Pre-College Scholars Program at Case Western Reserve University is very selective and competitive and is designed to give highly motivated and able secondary school students the opportunity to enroll in challenging college courses prior to graduating from high school, either in the summer or during the academic year. The Pre-Scholars application is available on-line in March with an application deadline for summer enrollment of May 1.
