Description: Project Hawai'i offers a very unique once in a lifetime opportunity to make a difference. Not a typical teen tour, you will spend your summer working hands on mentoring homeless children on the islands of Hawai'i. Program: Spanish in Spain with Suffolk!
Description: Ready for an academic adventure abroad? From July 2-15, Suffolk University Madrid Campus will host a two-week summer immersion program for rising high school sophomores, juniors and seniors. You will be paired up to live with host families, the perfect opportunity to live the life of a local and practice your language skills, not to mention enjoy authentic Spanish cuisine! During the mornings, you will take Spanish language and history/culture classes taught by Suffolk faculty, followed by afternoon activities and guided excursions to discover the wonders of Madrid and nearby towns. The weekends are filled with daytrips or free time with your host family. Prior knowledge of Spanish is not required – we have language classes for all levels, from beginner to advanced. Description: Summer@Rensselaer offers various academic enrichment programs on the campus of Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute in Troy, New York. Day enrichment programs are available for elementary, middle and high school students. Residential enrichment programs are available for high school students. Description: The Young Scholars Discovery program, June 20-July 2, 2010, offers rising eighth and ninth grade students an exceptional learning opportunity at the University of Maryland. For two challenging weeks, academically talented students explore career opportunities, engage with experts in innovative fields, collaborate during interactive seminars, and learn about university life at Maryland.

Program: Rockbrook Camp for Girls: North Carolina
Description: This program is a historic overnight summer camp for girls located in the mountains of North Carolina near Brevard. Established in 1921, it offers a diverse program of horseback riding, outdoor adventure activities, whitewater rafting, sports, drama, ceramics, crafts, and many other activities. Girls ages 6-16 attend for 2-, 3-, or 4 week sessions. Rockbrook is accredited by the American Camp Association.

Program: Academy by the Sea/Camp Pacific: Southern California
Description: Located on an oceanfront property in Southern California, Academy by the Sea/Camp Pacific offers a wide range of dynamic summer programs for students and campers. Program selections include: Academic Enrichment, Credit Courses, English as a Second Language, JROTC Leadership, Camp Pacific, Athletic Training Camp and Surf Camp. During their stay, all students and campers receive specialized instruction in their areas of interest. While mornings are dedicated to educational classes and clinics, afternoons are devoted to the pursuit of recreational activities, allowing students and campers to experience a variety of options.

Description: Cub Creek Science Camp provides unique opportunities for students to learn about and gain experience working with animals. The program has a science camp, a zoo camp, an animal camp, and a Jr. Vet program for students. Students can choose from many different activities available within this program.

Description: The academic camps at Gettysburg College provides students with unique opportunities to learn both inside and outside of the classroom. The programs emphasizes an active, constructive, and supportive environment for learning. Students can focus on areas including: creative writing, Spanish, performing arts, college prep, psychology, astronomy, service and leadership, and United States Civil War.

Program: Digital Media Academy: Locations include: Stanford University, University of Texas, UC San Diego, Hartsville South Carolina, South Burlington Vermont, and Hayward California.
Description: The Digital Media Academy has a large variety of courses related to video technology. Samples courses include: extreme sports video production, documentary film making, final cut pro advanced editing techniques, 3D game creation, and digital photography.
