Program:  University of Dallas - Arete in Irving, July 8-21, 2012
Description: Provides an enriching educational experience through the introduction of UD’s nationally recognized Core Curriculum. Students will initiate their journey to freedom by exploring the essential texts of Western Civilization and reflect on works of fine art, film, and music.

Program:  SPI High School Study Abroad
Description: Founded in 1996, SPI High School Study Abroad Programs offers high quality French, Italian, Chinese, and Spanish language immersion summer programs exclusively for high school students.  We believe traveling abroad develops independence and maturity by expanding students knowledge of the world and increasing their understanding of other cultures. All SPI high school study abroad programs are unique and personalized global experiences designed to build leadership qualities that help students succeed both in college and in their future endeavors.  Our programs are guided by experienced educators with small group sizes that make traveling abroad exciting, educational, and truly inspiring.

Program: University of Houston STEP Forward Pre-College Summer Engineering Camps for High School Students: Houston, Texas
Description: The STEP Forward Camp is a one-week residential engineering introduction program for rising 12th graders. The program is limited to fifty students. Participants stay on the University of Houston campus in a dormitory. UH engineering students serve as camp mentors and counselors.  The STEP Forward Camp curriculum includes: An introduction to the various disciplines of engineering ("What do engineers do?"), project-based learning (hands-on team project competitions involving engineering design), site visits to Houston-area engineering companies, field trips, panel discussions by working engineers and current engineering students, fun at the campus sports and recreation center.

Program:  University of Texas at Austin Summer Pre-College Architecture Academy for High School Students: Austin, Texas
Description: The Summer Academy is geared toward people who have little to no background in architecture and who wish to test and refine their interests in the field. Applicants to the Summer Academy range from age 17 and older and are typically considering applying to undergraduate or graduate degree programs in architecture at the University of Texas at Austin or other comparable institutions of higher education.
Participants: High School Juniors and Seniors age 17 and older.

Program:  Baylor University Summer Science Reseach Program for High School Students: Waco, Texas
Description: The purpose of the High School Summer Science Research Program (HSSSRP), an annual program established in 1991, is to give superior high school students hands-on research experience by working on research projects with Baylor University science professors in many disciplines. The research program occurs during the University's first session of summer school and is open to students the summer between their junior and senior year of high school. Students are selected each year from high schools throughout the United States to be involved in this summer research program, which allows them to earn one semester hour of college credit. It is hoped that this experience will have a positive effect on student interest in careers in science disciplines. Many former participants have successfully entered challenging undergraduate programs throughout the nation, including those at Baylor. The HSSSRP offers students an excellent opportunity to experience Baylor as they begin to consider which college they want to attend.

Description: The Mathworks Summer Math Camp is an intensive multi-summer program for outstanding high school students who are excited about doing mathematics-- the goal of the program is to develop talented youth of all backgrounds by providing challenging courses in a unique learning environment.
